GO BACK & GET IT is a solo film project shot in Nigeria in 5 days, run time 49 minutes.
It is a story about a students journey to reclaim part of her African identity as she journeys through Nigeria in search of her great-grandmother's Nation Dance.  To gain an understanding of who she is and where she comes from as she retraces her roots back to Africa.  Joanna Amara Alexander was born in the UK, her parents both born in Trinidad WI, with an  ancestry of Yoruba, Hausa and Fulani, this is HER-STORY.
