GET UP TO GET TO DOWN is a dance and hair project inventing a new dance step and an new hair style with an A3 poster in two spot colour. I included some photography to this project that also gave a representation of the character played by CJ a second year graphic design student.
HAIR I AM is the concept I developed to show how the African Diaspora youth feel about how they are targeted and labeled around the world so it is quite an angry dance, but set to hopeful music that ends with praying hands.
The Hair style heralds the infamous 1970s Afro combined with a modern mohawk twist.
